Creative Health Network was incorporated in 1992 as a religious non-profit. While we are not a 'church' in any traditional sense, we certainly have a spiritual foundation.
In the early days, the people involved came into engagement with each other primarily through our mutual association with A.R.E (the Edgar Cayce Foundation).
We have always operated as a WE - bringing together colleagues who had different talents - and aligned vision and values. It was this diverse yet cohesive WE that created our founding documents - our Mission Statement, etc.
About Our Logo
Shortly after incorporating, about 16 of us took a trip to Glastonbury, England. On that tour, our Founding Chair, Suzanne Keehn was on a bus and she observed a lady wearing a wonderful pendant – people linked by hearts around the world. She immediately recognized what a perfect symbol that was for this baby organization!
Suzanne spoke with this lady and was told it was an Aboriginal symbol. Well, that lady from the bus ordered several more pendants to be made in Australia - and she sent them to Suzanne, who shared them with the other founders. That design has been CHN’s logo ever since.
HISTORY
Our Mission is to work together with other groups and communities to help resolve societal issues and make world peace a reality.
We’ve been connecting and networking with individuals and groups around the world for over thirty years. Our intention is to work and create together, as equals. CHN supports and encourages "creative health" in so many ways.
